Norka Martinez Luque is a classically trained singer who sings Latin Songs. Luque has a very solid music background having started instrument, dance and singing lessons at a young age. She began performing while she was still in high school. Some of the major music competitions she took part in include “School Festival of Gaitas,” a Venezuelan folk music competition and the “Golden Voice.”
Ms. Martinez spent four years studying at a French business college. Later she received a Bachelor of business administration from the business school. The music she writes is a fusion of different genres, styles and languages (Spanish and English). Her songs perfectly fuse aspects of reggae, Mediterranean and Caribbean twist.
Unlike other artists who venture into music for the money, Norka Luque is in the music industry to do more than that. She noticed that the music industry lacked positivity and most artists only sang about negative things that could not better the society. Therefore, she made it her duty to bring about a positive change in the music industry.

In an interview, the beautiful Venezuelan singer said that “We as artists have the great responsibility of bringing a positive message to our fans because the lyrics in our songs transport them to the deepest levels of their emotions.…”
“Milagro” is one of her songs that convey a strong message of hope. This song inspires the masses to hold on and never give up when faced with challenges. “With the song Milagro, I wanted to send a message of hope to those who are overwhelmed by a personal crisis….,” She said.
In 2014, Norka Luque went through a major challenge that almost ended her music career. Medical professionals diagnosed her with the life-threatening condition epilepsy. She had to pose her career to undergo a brain surgery.
