Jeremy Goldstein’s dinner for Foundation House

Jeremy Goldstein is a lawyer at his namesake’s law firm. His office advises compensation committees, CEOs and other management, and corporations in executive compensation and governance matters. On May 21, 2019, a gala was hosted by Goldstein. It was a wine dinner charity to honor Jim Finkel and was titled “Mental Illness: You Are not ‘A Rhone.’” It took place on the Nomad Hotel roof deck form 6 pm until 10 pm. The cost of the tickets was $5,000. Vintages of wine by E. Guigal were served, including La Ladonne, La Mouline, and La Turque. The event benefited the Fountain House, a charity that helps people who have a mental illness.

Graduating from New York University School of law with a J.D, an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and B.A. cum laude and with distinction in all subjects from Cornell, Jeremy Goldstein joined a law firm in New York right after. He is chair of the mergers and acquisitions subcommittee of the executive compensation committee of the American bar association. Goldstein is a member of the Board of Directors of Fountain House. He has the education of a great attorney.

Founded in 1944 by several people who had mental illness formed a support group to help others, Fountain House was initially called “We are not alone. Purchasing a building in 1948, the group named the organization after the large fountain in front. They have provided affordable housing and job opportunities living for people living with mental conditions. According to Fountain House, and the World Health Organization, 25% of the world’s population, suffer from some form of mental illness. 20% of the adult population has a mental illness that needs to be addressed and treated. Add to that, one out of 25 adults is living with a mental illness. It’s sad to say that even 20% of children between 13 and 18 have had a mental illness.

The mission Fountain House has is to help people recover from mental illness. To do this, they make sure that those suffering have proper housing and can make a living for themselves. The charity is aware of the stigma associated with mental illness. Therefore, they advocate for the mentally ill on a local and global scale. They offer a way for those who wish to continue their education to do so while giving them a chance to provide their skills to employers. New York City has already seen the benefit of this house through an increase in this group’s standard of living.

Lincolnshire Management CEO TJ Maloney Makes Four New Hires

Lincolnshire Management is a financial company that invests in privately-held businesses. They take controlling interests in mid-sized firms in multiple industries. Founded in New York City in 1986, this company has invested in over 85 companies since that time. They manage over $1.7 billion in assets with their largest fund being Lincolnshire Equity Fund IV worth $835 million.

TJ Maloney is the chairman of chief executive officer of this company, positions he has held since 1993. Before joining Lincolnshire Management he had experience in the area of mergers and acquisitions. He also had experience in securities law. He has also been a guest lecturer, lecturing at university’s across the United States including Columbia University.

In June 2019, TJ Maloney announced that he had hired four new employees at Lincolnshire Management. Two of these new hires are financial analysts, Georg Stolt-Nielsen, and Yashna Ginodia. The other two were hired as senior associates, Nicolas Vega Llona and Matthew Nacier.

TJ Maloney was already well acquainted with Matthew Nacier. Matthew had been an intern at Lincolnshire Management while studying at Boston College. He was hired full time in 2014 as a financial analyst. He also worked for Iconic Holdings where he was instrumental in developing their crypto index fund.

Nicolas Vega Llona graduated from the Graduate Business School of Columbia University. He worked at Grupo Alese where he invested in companies in the agricultural, automotive, and construction industries. He joined the execution and diligence team.

Yashna Ginodia is a graduate of the Leonard N. Stern School of Business. TJ Maloney was impressed with her work at Noonmark Capital, another financial firm based in New York City.

Georg Stolt-Nielsen has a degree in economics he earned at Georgetown University. His previous experience is at Anthon B. Nilsen. This is a private equity firm based in Norway. He is also on the execution and diligence team.

TJ Maloney welcomed all four of these individuals to the Lincolnshire Management family. He was looking forward to working with young and passionate investors.

Jeremy Goldstein’s Work With Mental Health Organization Fountain House

Leading executive compensation lawyer Jeremy Goldstein attended Cornell University to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in art history. He continued on his educational journey to the University of Chicago. In 1996, he earned his Master of Arts degree in art history. Fountain House has a mission to help their member recover from mental illness in whatever way they can. Whether it’s housing, employment, or higher education, Fountain House is there. They build up their member’s confidence by building their skill set and raising their self-esteem. It turns out that each year 20 percent of the world has to address some sort of mental illness. That makes a lot of the world. Fountain House advocates for people suffering from mental illness by changing the public’s perception of them.

 

The organization has a very effective program that directly helps their members. 42 percent of their members have stable employments. This is a far cry from non-members at 15 percent. When it comes to education, 77 percent of Fountain House members are high school graduates, compared to 32 percent of non-members. In addition, 99 percent of members have stable housing. These numbers are a true testament of the dedication Fountain House has for its members.
